I think this is the only flaw with the betting section...

For example, this topic.

I put a bet on for a team to win. I then completely forgot about this till about now, and you are no longer able to claim your winnings.

1. I didn't even know the score, I only put on the bet because Leicester looked the clear favourites for the game.
2. I completely forgot about the topic, meaning I wasn't able to get my winnings (if the team I bet on even won).

Maybe we could possibly have a PM system where if you win a bet, you are PMed, asking you to reply to the PM to get your winnings. With the current amount of people who bet on Final Whistle, this PM system should not be a problem and should not take long to do. But when the forum does expand, this PM system will take a lot longer to do, resulting in us to change our ways.

I've included a poll for everyone to decide which would be the best way to solve this problem. Please don't hesitate to reply with your thoughts on this matter.

I'm not sure.

It takes enough time just setting up the odds for the Betting Shop never mind PM'ing all of the winners afterwards.

If you put a bet on at a real betting shop, it's up to you to go and collect your winners - they don't go sending you any reminders.

You could inform everyone who enter's a bet then PM then and somehomw keep the PM at the top of the Inbox

Yes that's a good idea with a section for each bet with the names of who has betting how much they have betted and how much they will win.
